Annie on Annie. I’m passionate about recruiting, even though I never thought I would be in staffing! I’ve had many years of experience as a generalist, but my specialty is identifying top talent for sales, finance, administrative and accounting roles.
Why recruiting? The harder to fill, the better. Bring it on. I love the challenge of finding the right candidate for tough to fill orders. And I enjoy helping candidates find a position they love. Helping companies grow by creating trusted working partnerships with their employees – yeah, that’s kind of my thing.
If I wasn’t recruiting I’d be… A toy game inventor. Yes, really.
You can quote me: “Never miss an opportunity to do the right thing!”
After hours: Spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping.
In ten years, I’ll be… Still with family and friends, traveling and shopping. Also, doing charity work. Also, lying on a beach. Maybe I can do charity work from the beach. Probably not.

Why I love Recruiting: Out of college I was given the opportunity to become a Recruiter. It was a career I had never really been aware of. I quickly found myself sincerely enjoying talking to people from all over while being the liaison between the employer and job seeker. It is truly rewarding when you help a candidate find a new career opportunity and in turn, fulfill the clients’ staffing needs.

About yourself: I grew up in New Jersey (Newark & Edison) with a brief stint in the Poconos and then off to college in Pittsburgh. I recently returned to NJ and so happy to back. I have three adult children who are following their career dreams. Before my staffing journey, I worked in the Insurance industry and still maintain all my licenses.
Why you Love Recruiting: I started my staffing journey 26 years ago building offices from scratch, finding clients and candidates the old fashion way. This gave me an opportunity to play matchmaker every day. Someone once told me “You’re the only person I know that loves their job”. I’m not sure I’m the only person that loves their job, but twenty-six years later and I do know Mondays are still a great day.
Fun Facts: I was at one time a paraprofessional tutor for children with Dyslexia at a school my mom had started. Every weekend throughout high school and a summer while home from college, I volunteered teaching various subjects. LOVED those major breakthroughs such as seeing a child with dyslexia and other special needs being able to write their own name.
Favorite Quote: “Minds are like parachutes; they function only when open” …. unknown
Favorite Song: Unchained Melody – Righteous Brothers
Favorite Book: From Scratch – Tembe Locke
Favorite Movie: It has always been Sweet Home Alabama, but I think From Scratch is catching up quickly.
Favorite Sports Team: Not a huge sports fan, but if I must pick, it would be the Pittsburgh Penguins.
What did you want to be when you were young: A Poet. Then an attorney. Then a Poet (LOL).
Favorite thing to do when you are NOT recruiting: I love antiquing and consignment shopping. You can’t beat the quality or the love that has gone into good old furniture. When I am not doing that, I enjoy listening to bands along the shore town venues where I live. Music is sooooo good for the soul.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years: I try to stay present daily but seeing myself enjoying a villa in Italy or a cottage in Ireland, would be fabulous.
